Prescription Refill Request

For your convenience, we have a dedicated Nurse line. When you call our office, please follow the prompts to reach the line.  Please leave your name, the patient’s name, your phone number, the name of the medication, the strength of the medication, notify us if there are any changes needed on their medication, your child’s chart number and whether you would like the medicine called in (leave pharmacy number), or need a written prescription  to be picked up (specify which office).  Please be aware that regular medical supervision is required to refill some prescriptions.  You may be asked to make an appointment for your child to be examined and to review your child’s treatment plan.  For controlled substances (i.e. ADHD medications and pain medication), your child must have been seen in our office for a medical evaluation within the past year – NO EXCEPTIONS.  Please keep in mind that a controlled substance prescription can not be called in.  Due to the high volume of calls on Monday’s, we ask that you not call on Monday’s for refills if at all possible.

The line is checked during the hours of 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, and the prescription will be processed in about 48 hours.  You need to call in a few days before your child runs out of their prescription to allow 48 hours for the request to be processed.  If you do not hear from us within that time frame and should you have any questions regarding your prescription refill, please contact us by phone.  Prescription refills are NOT done at night after 5 pm or on weekends, or on holidays.
